Corners is a place to discover the best of Africa. These rules keep it safe and trustworthy for everyone. They apply to every listing, review, photo, message, event and profile on the platform.
What's not allowed
- Illegal content or activity — anything unlawful in the relevant country.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance; reported to authorities.
- Harassment, hate speech, threats — attacks on people or protected groups.
- Defamation & false claims — knowingly false reviews or statements.
- Intellectual-property infringement — content you don't have the rights to.
- Impersonation — pretending to be another person, business or brand.
- Nudity & sexual content — explicit material.
- Spam, scams & fraud — deceptive, misleading or bulk unsolicited content.
- Privacy violations — sharing others' personal data without consent.
Reviews & listings
Reviews must reflect genuine first-hand experience. Don't post fake, incentivised, or competitor-sabotage reviews. Business owners must list only venues they're authorised to represent and provide accurate information.
AI-generated content
AI avatars and media must use your own likeness (or one you're authorised to use). Generating content depicting real people without consent, or any disallowed category above, is prohibited.
Reporting & enforcement
Use the Report button on any content, or email abuse@corners.africa. For copyright takedowns, see our DMCA notice form. We review reports and may hide content, warn, suspend, or permanently remove accounts that violate these guidelines. Repeat infringers are terminated.
